Role of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs
in HIV/AIDS
The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs
shall play the lead role in collaborating with the Ministry of
Public Security, the Ministry of Health, and the National Committee
on Population, Family Planning and Children to: learn and develop
mechanisms to manage, care and educate HIV/AIDS infected children,
sex workers and drug users who are living in the community; provide
guidance to local departments of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs
on collaboration with local health care institutions to manage,
counsel and care for people living with HIV/AIDS in the community,
and in health stations established according to the Ordinance
on Administrative, Punishments, and Social Protection Centres.
